“Veterans in Crisis” books donated to Goodhue County Sheriff and jail staff by nonprofit Veterans Empowered Inc.

“Veterans in Crisis” is a new book on the history of PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder. The book was written by Dr. Steve Lansing and Colonel B. Wayne Quist and was released on Memorial Day this year. They are printing 10,000 copies of the book to be given away free to disabled veterans with PTSD and to first responders law enforcement, fireman‘s, etc. they formed a nonprofit Veterans Empowered Incorporated and are raising $500,000 free PTSD treatment in the Rochester office and publish on PTSD for veterans in crisis. Their office is located in Rochester where disabled veterans and first responders can receive free therapy as well as coffees of the book.

Book are also available for sale for the general public on Amazon. On June 21st Dr. Lansing and Quist will do a book presentation at the Red Wing American Legion. The event starts at 4 PM with free hors d’oeuvres and will include a one hour talk by Dr. Lansing.
