Q-Media Harvest Lunch Held at Lodermeier Implement

Posted

Red Wing’s Q-Media group organized the 16th annual Harvest Lunch held on the grounds of Lodermeier Implement October 17th. Favorable weather has helped the farmers get field work done and a recent rain gave them time to take a break and attend the event. Over 100 people were served pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and cookies. The larger than average crowd caused the food to run out before the event ended. The food was prepared by Goodhue Country Station and sponsored by the Goodhue County Corn and Soybean Growers Association.

The activities were held under a large tent from Ripley’s Rental set up on the hill in Lodermeier’s implement sales lot. Dan Lemke of the Linder Farm Network joined KCUE’s Logan Breuer in the live broadcast featuring farm news and interviews with local business representatives.

Q-Media regularly broadcasts Goodhue Wildcat sports and other area events. They will be hosting several food drives including their 34th year at Red Wing Wal-Mart. News and discount coupons to local businesses can be found on their website, www.q-mediagroup.com. Listen live on the website or on your radio at 1250 AM or 98.9 FM or KWING 106 FM.
